Bought some pants last week. Clerk didn’t remove the inktag. I came back today to see it they could remove it, and they wouldn’t because I didn’t have a receipt. So I bought $40 pants, and ended up leaving them at the store because I’m not going to wear pants with a security tag on them. Zumiez essentially stole my money, and will never get my business again.
My fiancée and I came into this location to check out a pair of shoes for myself, when we walked in we weren't greeted by anyone or even acknowledged at all (even after an employee came over to move a ladder that was in front of the men's shoes that I was looking at.) I stood there for about 6 or 7 mins waiting for an employee to come by, and two of them did except they deliberately avoided eye contact and didn't say a word as they avoided helping us. Honestly the thing that made me write this review was how after waiting and just assuming maybe the staff was busy, a group of high school kids came in and the staff immediately greeted them and asked if they could pull any shoes down or help them in any way. We decided to leave after that and our existence was finally acknowledged as we walked out. I guess we weren't young enough for them to care or something? (24 btw)
Took my sister shopping here and everyone was extremely helpful! The customer service was great and someone was even kind enough to sit and chat with us! Big thanks for the demon slayer recommendation btw!(:
Purchased a pair of vans and some skate ball bearings as a gift a few months ago, box was poorly gift wrapped but that wasn’t so much of a problem as the mismatched sizes i received. Wasn’t given a physical receipt b that’s fine as i preferred an electronic one. When my niece unwrapped them on her birthday and tried them on she was rather upset as they didn’t actually fit her at all, not to mention one of the shoes was rather worn looking as if it had been a demo model or something. I called to get a replacement but the staff was very unhelpful and didn’t know how to operate the system, claiming the manager was away on lunch when i asked to speak to them (apparently still at lunch when i called 2 HOURS LATER) i returned to the store which was full of vape clouds, the staff looked high and they clearly hated their job. They refused to give me a replacement unless i provided a physical receipt as i didn’t have the box with me. For some reason they kept saying the electronic one was inauthentic and wanted to see my bank transfer. i told them to just call me back once the manager was in. They snickered when i left. Still haven’t received that call and my number appears to have been blocked.
Okay so I have a mixed review about this store, in particular the young man with all the piercings is absolutely awesome! Went in there to buy myself a new skateboard and he let my son sit up on the counter and help him set it up and he definitely put the customer first. So my 3 year old son needed to go to the bathroom and the young man proceeded to take him to the back and let him use there’s when someone I don’t know if it was the manager immediately walked up and she rudely said that my son couldn’t use it and would rather have him have an accident in their store and made us take him somewhere else mind you this is after we just got done spending a few hundred dollars in their store.
