My hubby and I just moved in. The move in process was great thanks to the office staff of Patience, Jesse, and Britney. They have been so helpful and continue to assist us with all our needs. We are seniors and most times we can't hear or understand everything that is explained to us but all the staff here are especially nice and patient with us. The maintenance guys, Trent and Ken have been awesome as well. If there are any problems or questions they are quick to take care of them. Even the mailman is nice, I just met him today. We talked for a little and he welcomed me here to Cortland at 2534. We really like and appreciate everyone here. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed.

Great place to live! Another review described the community as “very well run” and I think that sums it up perfectly. The entire staff is phenomenal and goes above and beyond to maintain a great experience for everyone. I really enjoy living here and happily renewed my lease. Modern apartments, nice amenities, and no major issues in the last year.

Moved in to a two bedroom apartment here in September and we absolutely love it. Patience helped us a lot with finding a perfect apartment and setting everything up. The apartments are really nice and spacious for the price. We love the clubhouse amenities as well. The area is also great with food and stores in walking distance.

Management cares more about the color of the sign poles and the pool furniture than the security of your belongings. Crime is common, and management won't take serious steps to install cameras. Management will forget about your conversations, so you had better follow up on your own, or they won't. They care more about enforcing arbitrary rules than resident experience and create a negative culture and community by encouraging residents to police each other for community violations rather than management doing their job. It's evidenced by how few people attend the community events management puts on. Consider carefully before moving in, especially if you have pets and/or if you're offered building A or B.
UPDATE: Management disagrees and has replied offering to "clear up confusion". There isn't any confusion. I disagree with management's assessment of their own effectiveness, and while they can say they take residents' concerns seriously, words don't change the fact that so many of us do not feel that way. Chances are you'll have a good experience until you have a real problem that needs management support. Enjoy it while it lasts, but recognize that it may not. That is ultimately why we were so eager to leave.
UPDATE 2: We continued to argue with management about our final bills. We called their corporate headquarters, and they came down on our side. I recommend that if you take this approach if you run into issues with local management.
