Had two girls go here - infant class, ones, twos, and a short pre school stint before moving somewhere closer to our house. Deanna was fantastic for us. There were a lot of great teachers there. App is used for intraday updates. My kids got off the pacifier here, were on consistent nap schedules, got potty trained.

Only giving 1 star because I couldn't give 0. Terrible communication with Deanna who is in charge of registration. I initially called about a preschool spot for my daughter and was told there's no openings, but then she decided to run the numbers and said they do have 1 more spot they can fill. She took all my information and told me I would be receiving an email with the registration info. Called back 2 days later because I never received the email and was told again it was being sent out shortly. 1 week went by without receiving it and I called back again. Was told she didn't have anything down that my daughter was offered a spot...so she took my info again and said the email would be sent out shortly. Called back again to ensure she had my correct email address and was told she email me it that evening.
It's been over a week and still nothing.
They like to lie to you here and tell you there is a spot when clearly there is not.
I'm actually relieved now that my daughter will not being going to this preschool. How can they be trusted to take care of my daughter if they constantly lie and can't get something as simple as registration correct?

This was my first experience with out of home daycare with my daughter and I was so nervous dropping my kiddo off with all these brand new people. That was over a year ago-- to date, one of the best decisions I've ever made!! My daughter loves going there because there's such a variety of activities and options for play, she loves the other kids and she loves the staff that take care of everything. I am greeted by the center's director, Carly, almost every day and even if it's not her, ALL of the staff greet us and care that we're there. I have no doubt that these are some of the best professionals I've ever encountered--taking care of children is truly their science and they're amazing at it. They call me with any concerns, they want to integrate my daughter's everyday home life into everyday daycare life and fully support her daily bus rides to school and incorporate her curriculum there into her day at Sunshine House. I love this group of people and love how they love and take care of my daughter...

My son has been at the Sunshine House since he was 2 months old (he's now 7). We've both been very happy with our experience there, from the infant program through school age. The teachers have been fabulous and I've loved getting to know them!

We recently left sunshine, not because of anything to do with sunshine, but simply because of convenience for our family. The staff was great, my daughter LOVED the teachers and made a lot of friends, which at the end of the day, that's what matters. However, with that being said, there are a few things that could be improved. It is clean, and they keep it clean, I just doesn't smell clean when I walk in the doors both morning and afternoon. A simple air-freshener would be great! Also, during the winter time, when I picked up my daughter her nose was running and some of that was dried on her face (which is a pet peeve of mine).
Other then that, we were pretty pleased with the pricing, services, and staff!
