Every tenant I have talked to, 20+ tenants, are furious with the new management arbitrarily applying policies. Some of these people perceive policies being enforced on a basis despite state and federally protected rights according to them. Drive around the parking lots and see the long standing policy violations with seemingly no repercussions whatsoever to those tenants while other tenants that may or may not be in a minority class held to account for perceived violations with no real evidence of such. Please know I am not a resident and if I was I would not have a problem saying so. This new management is not good in my opinion and will ultimately lead to an exodus of residents. Owner - please look at your reviews before and after you switched management companies and see the reality that your business is going to suffer very shortly. FYI - arbitrary application of policies can be and may be interpreted as intimidation and retaliation for protected rights. You may wish to take an evidence documented approach to policy violations rather than your current hearsay approach which can be abused by tenants and staff. BTW - Building D is still having problems with feces and urine in the staircases and elevator according to tenants. The email sent by management trying to address this problem apparently didn't work. P.S. you should probably cease from communications threatening eviction until you consistently enforce policy. You are free to enforce your policy as you see fit but you may not do so inconsistently based on biases that potentially infringe on state and federal law. Train your employees or ensure your contractors are trained appropriately. Either way, now that you have been made aware you can be held personally responsible regardless of your companies's tax filing statuses.
I loved the complex, but have never dealt with a more difficult staff. After reading several other reviews, I’ve learned we are not the only ones to experience this issue. I am not one to leave reviews, in fact this is my first, but I felt it was necessary. The complex doesn’t accept cash, card, or checks… and they continually declined all three of our bank accounts. We later decided to sublease, and they went back on their word on multiple accounts. They told us they would give the new tenets a key, as they knew we were last minute having to leave for Texas. However, they are now charging us $200 for a key, and refusing to let the tenets move in until we turn in our key…. From Texas! The office staff could not be more rude. When asked to let the new tenets into the building, as they said they would do because were in Texas, their response was, and I quote, “it is not our problem or responsibility.” Our new tenets are not staying in a hotel until we can get keys to them from across the country.
We moved in shortly after they first opened and lived there for about a year and a half. The location is good and the complex was nice. Some of the staff were courteous and helpful however other staff and management treated the tenants disrespectfully. For instance, during the height of the covid pandemic, tenants were spending time in the garages they were additionally paying for in order to do something since most places were closed. Management decided that the garages were only for car parking. Even after I moved out, I continued to receive bills and when I called to figure out why I continued to receive bills, I was hung up on without resolving the issue.
Used to have really good property owners but now they’re terrible. Weeds are everywhere, there has been trash outside the dumpsters for months, the pool is dirty and not heated, everything seems to be going down hill.
Lived here from April 2020-April 2021.....let’s just say I’m glad I’m getting out now. The property was sold to different management, and completely messed up my ledger, were saying I owed more than what I did, had to jump through hoops to try to get them to update and correct a ledger for me. Would ask for callbacks, never received them. Emails went unanswered. They honestly couldn’t even tell me what my base rent was if I asked. They had people filling in from other properties who didn’t have the access to do anything, and “management” was never available. So glad to be leaving.
