The worship was great, felt like I was at a concert! The sermon was more topical with a few verses thrown in. The sermon was about rest, which is good but was presented in a very worldly way. The pastor never called his congregation to rest in Jesus, which was what I was waiting for. Instead it was just "take days off for yourself". I think it had potential but could've dove into the bible a bit more to back up what he was saying. You can tell people "do not be anxious" but if you do not tell them that instead they can lay their anxieties at Jesus' feet, then you are asking the impossible. Lastly, although people were called to accept Jesus in their life, the Gospel was never explicitly explained. Do people understand that they are accepting God's Grace? I'm not sure. That being said, no church is perfect and of course as always, use discernment!
Attended for the first time this past Sunday with my 19 year old special needs son. It felt comfortable and welcoming. Live music and 3 large screens to be able to see everything. The message was nice and engaging. Even kept my teen awake and listening! Finished in an hour or maybe just under but the whole place is nice and you don't feel like you just want to rush out of there. It feels like church should. That we are all loved and accepted. We will be going back!
I really enjoy this church so far. Only visited a few times so that doesn't say much. But i can tell there is a welcoming vibe for families, children, and young adult based on the environment. But i also see many older adults as well. Would definitely recommend this place for the younger generation it seems perfect for them. Also i have never seen soo many small groups available. Awesome. Just looked at their menu for their kitchen and i will definitely be visiting it next service.
Well, although people held out welcoming signs. Only a small child smiled and I engaged him in a short conversation. I was looking forward to some Holy Spirit filled worship. The worship service music contained great songs. I don't know if the Senior Pastor gave the "sermon." It was baby milk, 👶!! I need a Pastor that teaches the meat of Christianity. I want to learn God's word, the word I read and study daily. I believe every single word is the inspired word of God Almighty. My Christianity is based on the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. That is what my faith is based on. I am a follower of Jesus Christ! One final question does REZ, stand for the sacred Resurrection of our Lord and the forgiveness of our sins and the New Covenant given to us by the grace and mercy of what happened on that glorious day. Does anyone else find "REZ" flippant or a less than the spilled blood of Christ, his death and Resurrection sacrilegious?. I'm sad and 😞 discouraged, but I will continue my quest for that church filled with the Holy Spirit and learn from a Shepard who knows and teaches his flock real meat from the Bible building up their knowledge. Instead of spewing lukewarm milk and think your leading. I would never recommend this church to anyone. My last thought is that it's great to keep an open mind when a church is looking to attract young people and families, to worship the Lord our savior. There is a fine line between providing a laid back approach to doing this but there should never be a compromise that could be forgetting to reintrating a sacred sanctuary for worship, respecting God our father, his son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Everyone should act as they are in their presence and to intentionally or unintentionally disrespect that attitude will have consequences.
Loved the service even though it wasn't a live service. It still was pretty awesome !!!!!
