We recently purchased a restaurant discount card, from a local school, as a fundraiser. Decided to use the one from Old Chicago, on a date night. The meals that we ordered were $13.98 and $ 14.29. We also shared dessert. We gave the server the key card, when settling the bill. She soon returned, and handed the card back to us, upon which the manager had written his name in sharpie. She said that her manager, Sean, said that we couldn't use the card because our meals were over $13.00. (None of the meals in the entree section of the menu were $13.00 or less). We asked if the $13.00 could be deducted from our bill, and we would pay the balance. The server said that was what she would do, but her manager said no. Shame on the manager, Sean, for putting the server in an awkward position, rather than handling the situation himself. Shame on Old Chicago for not honoring their discount card. If any of you also purchased one of these school fundraiser cards, don't bother going to Old Chicago. They won't honor the card. So we paid the full balance and left, with the "autographed" card in hand. What a joke! Actually, the joke was on us!
When I arrived I explained I was there for a TO-GO Order I had the most pleasant experience. I was originally going to place the order on-line but I had some coupons I wanted to use to I called the order in and she wanted to take it over the phone just so she could make sure the coupons would be accepted. Its so hard to find GOOD customer service let alone EXCELLENT!!! Keep up the good work gals
Everything we have had from here has been yummy. Tall wings are huge and cooked just right. Great flavor. The rollups are good. Salad is amazing! Looking forward to trying more items
Went in yesterday during dinner and just had an all around wonderful service! Immediately greeted and promptly seated. Special shout-out to our server Cailey, she did a wonderful job! Incredibly attentive and was so incredibly kind. Thank you so much!
Hey! When there are guests at your host stand greet them! Don’t walk away and pretend you did not see me when you are 5 feet away from me. Me and my wife stood there for 15 minutes before being greeted and then passed by some server who was “too busy“ to deal with us. Don’t worry we went to Chili’s and got greeted in 30 seconds. Why? Because they care about their customer and they want to make money… Maybe you should have a conversation with your employees about making money and where their income comes from.
