There weren't as many clothes for me as there were for teenagers. So many clothes for high schoolers, especially girls. You know people that are out of high school wear clothes too right Macy's?
I did find a couple of things but mostly was disappointed with the quantity overall of clothes at Macy's and the quality of clothes there.
For instance, I was looking for clothes made of only cotton or linen. I found a long sleeve button cotton shirt, and thought great but once tried on find that at the bust it gapes open because there isn't a button there. (Higher quality clothes pay attention to those details.) Most clothes had polyester or rayon, even t -shirts.
Also there were a lot of prom dresses or special occasion dresses that are meant to show a lot of skin. Not dresses you can really wear many times. I found one that sort of fit me but the straps were itchy. And there was an annoying tag that said Macy's wouldn't take it back if the tag was removed.

This review is for the fabulous Blanca at the Clinique makeup counter!
She took the time to not only color match mine and my sister’s foundations but worked with our individual needs to ensure we had the best foundation for each of our concerns. She even went with us outside to ensure a true color match in the daylight.
She was patient and honest about finding us a good match and we’re beyond thankful for her time!

I’ve always had a good experience here but today when I came to pay my bill the lady, who I’ve never seen before, tries to send me to another register. It was only me and the customer she was helping. I didn’t say anything or act like I didn’t want to wait I was standing in line on my phone minding my own business. May have to start driving to a different location if this happens again. Which is unfortunate because I really like the other associates who work at this location.

I have occasionally shopped in Macy's and other major department stores at other locations in the past, but I'm not a 'shopper' and lay no claim of vast experience or expertise.
This is a beautiful store, lots of merchandise, well organized and presented.
But it's was not the experience I was expecting from a large, storied chain like Macy's.
Why? On the 2nd floor, Men's Clothing, I encountered only one employee (& saw only two on the entire floor). She was a pleasant, helpful woman who basically was a stock clerk and cashier,
There was NO sales person, man or women, to assist me in locating & trying on a suit coats and slacks; no who could or would spend time with a customer to offer knowledgeable observations about current fashion or style, material, color, pattern, fit, or to propose alternatives.
There was no three-way mirror on the sales floor, only one crammed into the changing room, located half the length of the store removed from where I was.
This proved to be a serious shortcoming, because, with no other person to observe the fit of the coats I was trying on, I was unaware of how poorly they fit in the back, around and under the shoulders. (I have a normal, average adult man's body size, shape and posture, with no extra or mislocated 'material.')
And, the kicker - this store (the entire chain?) no longer offered alterations, nor had staff that could provide experienced alterations advice.
Since it is virtually impossible to find any new suit, sports jacket, or dress slacks that fits perfectly, alterations are always required, but now at extra cost and at some other location.
I was disappointed, dissatisfied, and, needless to say, didn't buy.
