This clinic is full of very kind people who just do not do opioid pain management. I don’t know why they can’t state that when someone is referred, but they do not do it. You should do your due diligence and search for a clinic who does. While they are very pleasant and kind, even if you are stage 4 cancer diagnosed they do not agree with opioid use here. Good luck in you search as it gets more and more difficult to find care for chronic bone pain patients. If you are on a small dose of opioid medication for something acute. I do agree it is best to not take opioids. Unless you are a terminal person. It can snatch your energy. Dr. Brown is a very kind man.

The provider and front desk staff were excellent, but I have been waiting for over a week to get scheduled for a test/procedure. I contacted the office and was told they were very busy and see a lot of people so it would take up to 3 weeks to schedule me. I contacted scheduling and was told the same thing. Both mentioned waiting for the insurance company verification, but that was completed over a week ago. Apparently, this is standard practice at this clinic. I worked in health care for 25 years and a 3-week delay in scheduling would not have been permitted

Extremely difficult to get into at first... Once an established patient, not too bad. However, Monday in Loveland are so very busy!! I've waited over an hour to even get called into a room. Not too sure why the wait is always so long, especially considering my appointment, once the Dr or PA come in, has NEVER been more then 5 minutes. VIRTUAL appointments usually run anywhere from 20-30 mins behind, but a lot easier to do things while waiting virtually then to sit in the full waiting room. I've had 2 seperate procedures by Dr Giradi. Epidural/spinal injections in my neck and the my back (L5/S1 bilateral). The pain, numbing, burning sensation I had due to my neck, IS GONE!!! I'm elated at the neck results!! I just had the lower back and sciatic both sides, done. I'm very hopeful that those injections will do their job just like the neck ones did. Staff at office and Loveland procedure area are joyful, thoughtful, empathetic and helpful. The nurses prepping for the procedures are very educated and personable. They made me feel more at ease when I came in as a very anxious nervous and skeptical patient. My ONLY FEW complaints and why I didn't give 5*'s is because #1- when I was in unbelievable, couldn't walk, crying pain... I wrote on the UC HEALTH portal app. I didn't even receive a reply to my message and they had called in a burst of steroids. I wouldn't of known the called in the rx if it wasn't because my app notified me of a filled prescription. I remained in 8 out of 10 pain for 6 days.... FINALLY received a call from a PA who was very nice, but sent me directly to the ER. Wish they spent just a little bit more person-2-person especially considering my extensive medical. And #2- I wish I had been told that had I scheduled the procedure in Fort Collins at Harmony, they do actual anesthesia, not just VERY light sedation. I felt every single thing on my neck and back. It was uncomfortable but NOT "painful"!! SORRY FOR A BOOK REVIEW I rather know as much as possible about a Dr, facility or surgical ANYTHING. There's my 🪙*🪙 2 cents

Wonderful staff. They will answer all your questions and are extremely professional. Colin Carpenter, MD at UCHealth Pain Management has done 2 nerve block diagnostic tests in preparation for a nerve ablatio. Both took less than 30 minutes and were relatively painless...similar to getting dental novacaine. Both took the pain from a 5 to a 0. Wear socks. It is cold in that room. Lol

I just got an epidural in my neck this morning and although I am not feeling the relief yet I wanted to say how professional all the employees were. They made me feel very comfortable and relaxed As this was the first time I was doing something like this. They also had a horrible Karen being incredibly rude and dramatic, which they handled the situation very well. Nurses and doctors need to get more credit for the stuff they have to deal with on a daily basis. Thank you all for an amazing experience and all you do for your patients. I’ll see you again in six months.
