I love American Eagle jeans but I absolutely hate shopping at this store. Everytime I go in the greeter stands there and doesn't say a word. As I shop around there are multiple employees on the floor but not one person can be bothered to ask if there is anything they can help with, they continue to walk around you and act as if you are in the way. Absolutely horrible customer service and I will gladly shop elsewhere.
I have to day I'm very disappointed with this store. The store was a mess, the staff was very un helpful. I am also disgusted at the fact that they did not carry a men size bigger than 38 and when I asked about it, I was looked at with disdain. This is a stark difference from comparable stores like Eddie Baur where they treat their customers like they matter. This was my first time coming into an American Eagle and after being fat shamed, I will definately NOT be going back. I'll spend my money with a company that wants to stay in business.
The customer service I received from Brandon was nothing less than exceptional! He took care of my needs right away. Returned a pair of jeans, and ordered me a different color on line for me. No shipping fee, and no hassle.
I would not recommend this snobby place. I had cash and gift cards and they watched me the whole time and didn’t ask if I needed help. I’m not sure if it’s because we were ethnic looking, older (30-‘s), or they’re just rude. I hate to say that and I’m not using the race card, but it’s hard to know nowadays because it’s so prevalent in our society. I never go to this store unless I take my son, but I would never pick this store. I did try on a pair of jeans and the girl let me, but when some other lady and her daughter went in to try it on she was so happy and nice and offered to help them with anything else. It honestly made me question their character. I spent a lot of money here to be treated badly and I even have their dumb card.
very disappointed in the customer service at this location. i love AE, but i'm very saddened by the management. My friend got shamed for not wanting to pay 30 dollars for 1 tank top and the manager named catie shamed her and told her she was good to go once she mentioned she wanted to take off one of the tank tops on the purchase. I have experience working in customer service as an employee at another clothing company and this should never be acceptable, especially from a manager.
